EC Hallewell – Writer

Hi, I’m Elian (they/them). I try to write happy books but what comes out is generally dark, messy, and decidedly queer.

I grew up in Cumbria and now live in Edinburgh, Scotland, and the lakes and fells and sea have a tendency to sneak into my stories.

When I’m not writing, I like to get outside: coffee shop hopping, coastal walks, river walks, lochside walks… Aye, I like to be by the water. Probably why I write about it so much…
